18 Sep 12th LAWASIA International Moot Court Competition

In Tokyo, Japan to judge the finals of the 12th LAWASIA International Moot Court Competition held in conjunction with the annual LAWASIA Conference. Congratulations to both University Teknologi MARA, Malaysia (Claimant) and Singapore Management University (Respondent) for a fitting finale, with SMU clinching it at the end to become the 2017 Champions. Throughout the decade, thousands of the region’s most prodigious and brightest legal students have taken this opportunity to hone their legal skills, endearing towards excellence in regional and international law whilst embracing the spirit of competition and celebrating the sharing of knowledge and ideas. KLRCA’s collaboration with LAWASIA derives from our long standing aspiration of contributing to the capacity building of the legal community, especially the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) scene.  Much credit goes to the LAWASIA Moot Standing Committee, advisors and volunteers for your spirited drive and commitment in ensuring this yearly spectacle continues to grow in strength and stature.
