28 Aug 1st Seminar of International Commercial Experts Committee

Glad to be in Beijing for the 1st Seminar of International Commercial Experts Committee. Honoured to be appointed as a member of the International Commercial Experts Committee made up of 32 global ADR personalities & share my thoughts on the Practice & Perfection of International Commercial Dispute Resolution Mechanism. Big congratulations to the Government of China (“PRC”) & Supreme People’s Court of China (“SPC”) on the launch of the International Commercial Courts in Shenzhen and Xi’an, Shaanxi. International Commercial Courts are referred to as the watchful unfettering companion of International Arbitration. I am glad that the PRC & SPC have established a one-stop platform to provide effective and integrated international dispute resolution. Spoke about the education and other tools necessary for Holistic Dispute Resolution and AIAC’s vision to provide these services. Keeping in mind the Belt & Road (“B&R”) Initiative, complete and holistic dispute management is a need of the hour. The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (“CCPIT”) in collaboration with other institutions across the B&R, including the AIAC is working on the establishment of the B&R Dispute Resolution Commission, to manage and resolve disputes arising out of the projects related to the B&R.
